In an exculsive conversation with LatestLY.com, the Sharks discussed the show’s impact on entrepreneurship and entertainment. Anupam Mittal emphasized that Shark Tank India is more than just a business show—it’s a platform that blends education and entertainment to inspire budding entrepreneurs.
Anupam Mittal on Shark Tank Pakistan
When asked about Shark Tank Pakistan, Mittal shared his thoughts. He humorously called it “hilarious” in its current stage but expressed hope that it would grow into a serious platform encouraging entrepreneurship. He stressed the importance of economic growth in neighboring countries, as it indirectly benefits India, fostering peace and development.
Encouraging Women Entrepreneurs
Mittal highlighted the show’s significant role in supporting women entrepreneurs. Globally, only a small percentage of women receive venture funding. However, on Shark Tank India, nearly 50% of funded startups include at least one woman co-founder, a remarkable achievement promoting gender diversity in business.
Mittal’s Entrepreneurial Journey
Reflecting on his journey, Mittal shared how the dot-com bust in his early twenties taught him valuable lessons. He credited those setbacks for shaping his entrepreneurial spirit and encouraging him to take risks that ultimately led to his success. He expressed excitement to guide and inspire budding entrepreneurs on the Shark Tank India stage.
With its unique blend of entertainment, mentorship, and business opportunities, Shark Tank India Season 4 promises to be an exciting journey for entrepreneurs and viewers alike.
