Anant Ambani, Mukesh Ambani, and Nita Ambani's youngest son tied the knot with Radhika Merchant on July 12 at Jio World Drive in Mumbai. The three-day ceremonies were attended by some of the most famous guests including global leaders, politicians, celebrities, and social media influencers. One special guest in attendance was Shanteri Nayak, mother of Naresh Nayak, the owner of Mysore Cafe. The cafe was earlier owned by Shanteri who then passed the baton down to her son.

For the unversed, Cafe Mysore is the oldest restaurant in Mumbai for South Indian food running since 1936.

Now, a video is going viral on social media, of the interaction between Shanteri Nayak and Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. After spotting the former Mysore Cafe owner, Anant Ambani could be seen quickly calling Radhika Merchant to greet her. 

In the video, Radhika Merchant could then be seen happily walking towards Shanteri Nayak and telling her, "Every Sunday, we eat your food at our house." Anant Ambani could be heard telling her, "It is only because of you, we get to eat such yummy food." 

The newlyweds then also thanked Shanteri Nayak for gracing their wedding festivities. Anand Piramal can also be seen in this video, along with Shloka Mehta, greeting the Mysore Cafe owner.

Mukesh Ambani has often said that his favourite food was idli sambar and his favourite restaurant, to this date, remains Mysore Cafe where he used to eat as a student at UDCT from 1974 to 1979.

After organising an extravagant 3-day wedding festivities, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani on July 15, held a wedding reception solely for the Ambani family’s household staff and Reliance employees. 

Speaking at the event, Mukesh Ambani said, "Aap sab ke finally most important, aap sab ke shubh ashirwaad, blessings, aapki shubh kamnaaye humare Radhika aur Anant ke saat rahe jaise yeh apni nayi zindagi shuru karne jaate hain, aapna naya parivar banane jaate hain (Most importantly, I hope your blessings and well wishes are with Radhika and Anant as they are about to start their new life and build their family)."
