Reports suggest that the settlement amount has tripled from initial estimates, causing a substantial reduction in Gates’ wealth. Melinda French Gates is now one of the wealthiest women in the United States, with her net worth estimated at USD 29 billion.

Despite the decrease in his fortune, Gates’ dedication to philanthropy remains steadfast. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, one of the world’s largest charitable organizations, continues its work in global health, education, and poverty alleviation.
