Indian billionaire Gautam Adani is the second richest man in India. He has a massive net worth of USD 58.6 billion, as per Forbes. The billionaire continues to expand his business with new projects. Now, one of the Adani Group companies, Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL), said that its step-down arm Adani Renewable Energy Forty Eight Ltd has commissioned a 57.2 MW wind power component of its wind-solar hybrid project at Khavda, Gujarat.

With the commissioning of this plant, AGEL's total operational renewable generation capacity has increased to 11,666.1 MW, a regulatory filing said. According to the filing, Adani Renewable Energy Forty Eight Ltd, a step-down subsidiary of Adani Green Energy, has commissioned a 57.2 MW wind power component of its wind-solar hybrid project at Khavda. Based on the relevant clearances, it was decided to operationalise the plant and commence power generation on January 15, 2025. Adani Green has a market cap of Rs 1.60 lakh crore as of January 14.

Moreover, Adani Group stocks were in heavy demand on Tuesday and ended the day in positive territory, with Adani Power surging nearly 20 per cent, bouncing back after declining from the previous day's decline.

Shares of Adani Power zoomed 19.77 per cent, Adani Green Energy soared 13.22 per cent, Adani Energy Solutions surged 12.06 per cent, Adani Enterprises rallied 7.12 per cent, Adani Total Gas jumped 6.52 per cent and NDTV shot up 5.63 per cent on the BSE.
