Zomato co-founder Deepinder Goyal has registered an ultra-luxury apartment in DLF’s The Camellias, Gurugram, for a whopping Rs 52.3 crores. Interestingly, Goyal joined the list of billionaires in 2024 as Zomato's market capitalization surpassed the USD 2 trillion mark.

1.Who is Deepinder Goyal?
A native of Muktsar, Punjab, Deepinder Goyal was born on January 26, 1983. He pursued his graduation from renowned IIT, Delhi. After this, Goyal kickstarted his career as a senior associate consultant at Bain and Company.
2.Founded FoodieBay.com
It was during his time at Brain and Company when he met Pankaj Chaddah, who eventually became his co-founder in a revolutionary food venture. In 2008, Goyal and Chaddah founded FoodieBay.com, which became the largest restaurant directory in Delhi-NCR in no time.
3.Birth of Zomato
As FoodieBay.com garnered attention, contributions poured in from investors. As per media reports, an influential USD 200 million investment from Ant Financial pushed the company, now known as ‘Zomato,’ to unicorn status in the 2018-19 fiscal year.
4.Lifestyle
Deepinder Goyal's success couldn't be overlooked in the entertainment world, with his recent appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show. Previously, he also appeared as one of the judges in Shark Tank. Goyal, 41, is married to Grecia Munoz, a Mexican entrepreneur. The couple has a 5-acre property in Mehrauli, New Delhi.

As of 2024, Goyal's net worth exceeds Rs 8,000 crores.
