Watch: Sonu Nigam cries inconsolably on Krishan Kumar's lap at Tishaa Kumar's prayer meet

Tishaa Kumar, daughter of T-Series co-owner Krishan Kumar and former actress Tanya Singh, passed away last week after a prolongled battle with cancer in Germany last week. She was just 20 years old. Tishaa's funeral and prayer meet were held in Mumbai on Monday, July 22. 

The artiste Siddharth Mohan, who performed at the prayer meet, has shared a video from the event on his Instagram. In the clip, singer Sonu Nigam is seen crying inconsolably as he laid his head on Krishan Kumar's lap. The video, capturing the emotional moment, has gone viral on social media

Several Bollywood celebrities such as Kartik Aaryan, Fardeen Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Suniel Shetty, Rakesh Roshan, Ashutosh Gowariker, and Shaan can also be seen in the clip as they came to pay their final respect to the departed soul. Tishaa's prayer meet was held at the Hotel Sahara Star in Vile Parle.

Tishaa's cousin sisters Khushalii Kumar and Tulsi Kumar penned a heratbreaking tribute in her memory. It read, "Our princess Tishaa, it breaks my heart that you are gone. It was not your time to go, we wanted to see you grow, see you in your wedding dress not see you like this. Gone too soon. Rest in peace, my little sister".

Tishaa's cousin brother Bhushan Kumar shared a photo of Tishaa and wrote, "Tishaa R.I.P". His wife Divya Khossla shared a couple of photos with Tishaa and wrote an emotional note, "Tishaa you will remain in our hearts forever, gone so soon. Tanya Singh, may God give you the strength to go through this most painful loss."

Bhushan Kumar, Khushalii Kumar, and Tulsi Kumar are the children of late Gulshan Kumar, who founded T-Series. Krishan Kumar is Gulshan's younger brother and he manages the music record label and film production company with his nephew Bhushan.
