Despite the hype surrounding Varun Dhawan's film Baby John, it unfortunately failed to make a significant impact. Undeterred by this setback, the actor is now gearing up for an exciting new project - Border 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the 1997 blockbuster Border. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, as per reports.

A video captured Varun at the airport this morning, departing for the shoot of the highly anticipated film. As he joins the star-studded franchise, Varun's fresh new look caught the attention - he sported a stylish moustache paired with light stubble. His chic, casual outfit consisted of blue denim jeans, a classic white T-shirt, and a sleek black leather jacket, completed with trendy sunglasses. As soon as the video went online, netizens flooded the comment section with views over his unsuccessful Baby John, and his new look for Border 2. A user commented, “It's not necessary to grow moustache for army role, many great army men are without moustache, why always typecast army or any armed forces.” A second user trolled him saying, “Mano Na Mano agar koi outsider hota to use itna kam kabhi nahin milta jitna iss nalle sale Flop Nepo kids ko milta hai("Mind you, if someone was an outsider, they would never get as many opportunities as these useless flop Nepo kids get).” A third user commented, “Baby John bhediya coolie no 1 street dancer kalank he has given disasters of epic proportions and now this is next.”

Border 2 is touted to be a majestic cinematic experience, with Varun's addition to the ensemble cast fueling immense excitement. The film has big shoes to fill, living up to the iconic legacy of its predecessor. With the backing of producers Bhushan Kumar and JP Dutta, who directed the original, expectations are running high.
