Actress Sharavri Wagh is on a roll. In 2024, she proved her worth at the box office with sleeper hit Munjya, and then impressed the masses with her acting chops with OTT release Maharaj. This year, Sharvari will be headlining YRF's Spy Universe's Alpha with Alia Bhatt. And now, as per the reports, Sharvari has replaced Kiara Advani as the female lead in Don 3. Bollywood Hungama, Sharvari and another actress were considered for Kiara Advani's replacement. However, Sharvari won the race, and now she will play Roma in Farhan Akhtar's directorial. For the unversed, Kiara Advani was signed to replace Priyanka Chopra. However, she had to exit the film due to her pregnancy. 

The portal quoted a source who talked about Sharvari being considered for Don 3. "Sharvari and one more actress were being considered. But she has managed to bag the role. The team at Excel Entertainment are excited to have her on board. Sharvari, too, is quite kicked to be a part of such a huge franchise and also because it’s different from Alpha, though both are slick action films,” the source added. 

The insider further quipped about Sharvari's lineup of films, and added, "Though it is not announced yet, it is a given that she’ll be back with Maha Munjya and some other film of this universe. Alpha, meanwhile, belongs to the YRF Spy Universe; it needs no introduction. And Don 3 too belongs to a series that has got a lot of love from the people.”

Don 3 will go on the floors from...

There was news that Don 3 has been indefinitely postponed. However, the insider stated that the film will go to the floors by the end of 2024. "The makers plan to commence shooting by the end of 2025. By then, Sharvari will be free of the promotions of Alpha; the film releases on Christmas. Ranveer Singh will hopefully be done with the release of Aditya Dhar’s action thriller. Farhan Akhtar’s 120 Bahadur releases on November 21." Don 3 is the reboot of Shah Rukh Khan's Don, which was the remake of Amitabh Bachchan's Don.
