Sikandar teaser: Salman Khan kills villains with rifle and his ultimate swag, fans say 'Baap of Bollywood is back'

The much-awaited teaser of Salman Khan's next film Sikandar has finally been released. The superstar is seen surrounded by some masked men carrying rifles behind him. He then says the dialogue, "Suna hai ki bahut saare log mere peeche pade hain, bas mere mudne ki der hai", and kills them all with their rifles only.

Salman's unique style and swag in the teaser is being loved by his fans. One of them wrote, "The Baap of Bollywood is back", while another added, "Salman Bhai + Eid = Box Office Tsunami." "This is MASS. Salman Khan is Back. What BGM. What colour scaling. Eid celebrations begin today", read another comment.

Rashmika Mandanna will be seen as the leading lady opposite Salman in Sikandar. Directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the much-awaited film will release in theatres in the last week of March 2025 on the occasion of Eid. The exact release date hasn't been announced yet.

AR Murugadoss marked his Bollywood debut with the Aamir Khan-starrer Ghajini, which became a blockbuster and established the Rs 100-crore club in 2008. He then made two more Hindi films - Holiday with Akshay Kumar in 2014 and Akira with Sonakshi Sinha in 2016. Murugadoss has helmed popular Tamil films such as Mahesh Babu's Spyder, Thalapathy Vijay's Thuppakki, Chiranjeevi's Stalin, and Rajinikanth's Darbar among others.

Sikandar teaser was initially scheduled to release on Salman's birthday on Friday, but the makers decided to postpone it with a statement that read, "As the nation pays tribute to the Honourable Dr. Manmohan Singh, we have rescheduled the Sikandar Teaser launch to 4:05 PM Tomorrow. In this time of reflection and respect, we stand united with the nation. We appreciate your patience and understanding - the teaser will be worth the wait."
