Sharvari shares cryptic post amid speculations of losing Kartik Aaryan's film to Ananya Panday: 'Always answered...'

Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar’s much-awaited collaboration is finally taking place. The film in question, being touted as the 'biggest love story' of 2026, brings back Kartik Aaryan to the rom-com genre and is titled, Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri. It was earlier reported that Ananya Panday and Sharvari Wagh were in the race to star opposite Kartik Aaryan in the film. However, Ananya Panday has reportedly been locked in for Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. Amid Sharvari reportedly losing out on the film, eagle-eyed fans have now speculated that the actress's latest Instagram post is a cryptic note in response to these reports.

Sharing an image from a temple, Sharvari wrote, "Prayers are always answered… Just have faith." 

Bollywood Hungama recently quoted a source as saying, "Kartik and Karan were looking for an actress with strong pull in the youth, and after contemplating the names, they have locked Ananya to play the female lead. Ananya and Kartik are a successful pair, and this would extend their partnership further."

The source further said, "While Ananya is doing Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, Kartik has promised another film to Sharvari. The duo will be teaming up on another love story by the end of 2025. Kartik is clear to maintain equations with all his female co-stars, and a promise made now will be fulfilled soon. He has also offered Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 to Sharvari." 

As for Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri, the film will be helmed by the Satya Prem Ki Katha director Sameer Vidwans and will be produced under the banner of Dharma Productions. The film is slated to release in theatres worldwide in 2026. After their fallout during Dostana 2, this is the first time that Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan would be collaborating.
