Shah Rukh Khan salutes National Flag on Republic Day, asks fans to 'uphold values of constitution': 'Let's promise..'

Shah Rukh Khan celebrated Republic Day, hoisted the National Flag in the compound of his home, Mannat, and penned a major note for his fans. On X (formerly Twitter), Shah Rukh shared a photo where he is captured saluting the National Flag. In the tweet, Khan asked his fans to promise him to 'uphold the values of the constitution'. 

The Jawan actor wrote, "This Republic Day, let’s promise ourselves to contribute to an India that we can proudly pass on to the generations to come. Let’s uphold the values of the Constitution and hold our heads high with pride. Happy Republic Day and Jai Hind."

Soon the photo shared by King Khan went viral, and several of his fans promised him to be an ideal citizen of the country. A netizen wrote, "Jai Jawan Jai Kisan jai ho love you @iamsrk." Another netizen wrote, "Happy Republic Day, keep making India proud like you always do." One of the netizens wrote, "Shah Rukh Khan wishes everyone a Happy Republic Day! Let’s celebrate the spirit of unity, freedom, and diversity that makes India truly incredible. Just like King Khan’s movies, our nation is all about spreading love, breaking barriers, and inspiring dreams!" 

On January 25, Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan completed two years, and director Siddharth Anand celebrated the film's anniversary on social media. Pathaan marked Khan's comeback on the big screen after a hiatus of five years. The action thriller also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in key roles. Pathaan was released with positive critical reviews and an overwhelming bumper response from the audience. The movie went on to become a blockbuster, crossing Rs 1000 crore worldwide. A few months after Pathaan, Khan made another record by delivering a bigger blockbuster- Jawan. On the work front, Shah Rukh will soon be seen in Sujoy Ghosh's King. Shah Rukh's daughter, Suhana is reportedly sharing screen space with him.
