Sara Ali Khan refrained from THIS while preparing for Sky Force

Sara Ali Khan is geared up for her next film, Sky Force co-starring Akshay Kumar, Veer Pahariya and Nimrat Kaur. The actress will be featured as the wife of an army officer in the upcoming film. For the preparation, she reportedly got rid of her mobile phone to remain focused on the script and the portrayal of her role. 

Recently, the makers of Sky Force unveiled the trailer, featuring Sara’s character in despair as her husband (played by Veer Pahariya) goes missing after the airstrike. The trailer has gained a lot of attention, leaving fans excited for Sara’s role in the upcoming film. Talking about her preparation, a source close to the development revealed that she used to sit quietly on the set and focus on her script and delivery. 

“She consciously avoided distractions on set to remain emotionally grounded for key scenes. Her approach allowed her to fully inhabit the role of a soldier's wife to be able to portray the dealing of hope and uncertainty perfectly together. She would neither use her phone nor anything else that could divert her attention," the sources added. 

Sky Force will mark the Bollywood debut of Veer Pahariya alongside Akshay Kumar who will feature as Wing Commander K.O. Ahuja and Nimrat Kaur as his wife. The film also has Sharad Kelkar, Mohit Chauhan, and Manish Chaudhari in the pivotal roles. Bankrolled by Jio Studios in collaboration with Maddock Films and Leo Films UK Production, the film was initially slated to release on October 2, 2024, but now, it will release on January 24, 2025, ahead of Republic Day.

Sara Ali Khan has a slew of exciting projects lined up. In addition to Sky Force, she will soon be seen in Anurag Basu's highly anticipated film Metro In Dino, which boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Aditya Roy Kapur, Anupam Kher, Ali Fazal, Kay Kay Menon, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Rahul Bose, and Neena Gupta. Furthermore, Sara is reportedly set to star alongside Ayushmann Khurrana in an untitled drama, promising a thrilling year ahead for her fans.
