Somy Ali, who previously had a relationship with Salman Khan during his initial years in the industry, made serious claims about the actor. She alleged that Salman had used his family's maid, Najma, to monitor her and inform him about her actions secretly.

"Hamari jo kaam wali thi, jo ironically was maid of Salim uncle and Salma aunty; she told me that Salman had sent her to live with me, to keep an eye on me to who I speak with, in terms of male co-actors, who comes over to the apartment, what do I do whole day, and I was like who are sent to my apartment as a spy," she told IANS.

While speaking to IANS, she claimed, "We wear different faces, but some faces can be terrifying behind closed doors. Ironically, our maid, who worked for Salim uncle and Salma aunty, told me that Salman sent her to live with me to keep an eye on whom I spoke to and who came over to the apartment, as well as what I did all day. At one point, I felt like she was sent as a spy. Salman was so physically abusive that one time, when she knocked on the door—she was nearly 45 years old—she said to Salman, 'Bhai, leave this girl alone and hit me instead.' My entire neck was black and blue because he had been slapping me there"

Somy Ali recently engaged with her fans on Reddit through an "Ask Me Anything" (AMA) session, where she spoke about her past relationship with Salman Khan. The Pakistani actress also shared her views on his ongoing dispute with the Bishnoi community. When a Reddit user inquired about her reasons for leaving the film industry, Somy revealed that she left Bollywood due to Salman Khan's "eight one-night stands" during the 1990s.

She said, "Because I was tired of Salman’s eight one-night stands, not just one. Also, I didn’t appreciate being physically and verbally abused on a daily basis. I left when a boyfriend I was with brought in some new girl named Ash! I was tired of his one-night stands! And I finished my education."

Somy Ali talked about her past with Salman Khan, joking that she wasn’t a “bada**” at 16 when asked how he "bagged" her. She also revealed that despite receiving Bollywood offers, Salman allegedly blocked her from returning, fearing she might expose his true nature.

She also mentioned that she entered Bollywood not to pursue acting, but simply to confess her crush on Salman. She added, "Well, I didn’t go there to act. I went because of a stupid teenage crush, which is why they say you should meet your idols in real life. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I think Ted Bundy had better manners than Salman."

She then made a sensitive comment and said, “Sushant Singh Rajput did not die by suicide; in fact, he was murdered. We still don’t know what happened with Jiah Khan, as she was pregnant and found hanging from a ceiling fan, and Suraj Pancholi went to Salman for advice, which ultimately led to Jiah’s death.”
