Rasha Thadani reveals her parents' reaction to Uyi Amma song from Azaad: 'They're very controlled...'

Rasha Thadani is generating buzz with her captivating dance performance in "Uyi Amma", a high-energy track from her debut movie, Azaad. Recently, she shared her parents', Raveena Tandon and Anil Thadani, reaction to her show-stopping number, and said that she doesn’t get much of a reaction from them. 

The star kid stated that her parents emphasise the importance of humility and staying grounded. "Yes, my mom is very happy. She's encouraging me to always do better but I don't get that much of a reaction from my parents because they emphasise on staying humble and grounded. If you get so much love from your family, there could be a sway and any human would get high on the love. So, they're very controlled and I'm very thankful for that, so I feel much more secure and grounded because of that,” she told the Times Of India. 

Rasha also revealed that she juggled studies with her debut movie. She said that she balanced her debut project with academics, shooting for Uyi Amma while in class 12th. After completing the shoot, she returned to school to finish her graduation. Currently, Rasha is pursuing a degree in Business Management and is in her first year.

Earlier in the day, Rasha took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a video featuring herself and her team grooving to Uyi Amma as the song crossed 30 million views. The debutant was spotted wearing the same stunning lehenga set she donned in the video song, while her team joined in on the dance trend.  She expressed gratitude in a short and sweet caption that read, “Thankyou from team RT/UYI AMMA for 30M+ of love(red heart emoji and fire emoji).”

Azaad also marks the Bollywood debut of Ajay Devgn’s nephew Aaman Devgan. The movie is set in pre-independence India, also starring Ajay alongside Diana Penty. The film is set to arrive in the theatres on January 17, 2025.
