Anushka Sharma, the model-turned-actress made her Bollywood debut with Yash Raj Films Band Baaja Baaraat. The movie also marked the debut of Ranveer Singh. Hailed from Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, to Colonel Ajay Kumar Sharma and Ashmia Sharma, a homemaker. She grew up in Bangalore and attended St. Mary’s School in Assam and Army School in Bangalore, before graduating from Mount Carmel College.

You’re not the most good-looking girl, so you have to make sure that you work really hard."

Her production house was started with NH10 (2015), and it continued with Phillauri, Pari, Bulbbul, and Pataal Lok.
