Khushalii Kumar remembers 'little sister' Tishaa Kumar in heartbreaking tribute: 'It was not your time to go'

After Tishaa Kumar's funeral and prayer meet were held in Mumbai on Monday, July 22, her cousin and actress Khushalii Kumar remembered her 'little sister' in a heartbreaking tribute. Daughter of Gulshan Kumar's brother Krishan Kumar, Tishaa passed away last week after a prolongled battle with cancer in Germany last week. She was just 20 years old.

Gulshan Kumar's daughter Khushalii Kumar took to her Instagram and penned a note in Tishaa's memory. "Our princess Tishaa, it breaks my heart that you are gone. It was not your time to go, we wanted to see you grow, see you in your wedding dress not see you like this. Gone too soon. Rest in peace, my little sister", she wrote.

Along with her note, Khushalii shared a couple of photos and a note on loss. The first photo was of Tishaa alone and the second pic showed the two sisters posing together for the cameras from Tishaa's teenage years. The third picture was a note that read, "Losing a loved one is torture, especially for those left behind. They say time heals all wounds. It doesn't. It just patches a broken heart. It doesn't get any easier over time. You just learn to live with the pain."

Apart from Khushalii, the late singer Gulshan also has two children - Tulsi Kumar and Bhushan Kumar. Khushalii is an actress, Tulsi is a singer, and Bhushan manages T-Series along with Tishaa's father and former actor Krishan Kumar. The uncle-nephew duo of Krishan and Bhushan have turned T-Series into one of the biggest music record labels in India. 

The company has also bankrolled multiple blockbusters such as Salman Khan-starrer Ready, Shahid Kapoor-starrer Kabir Singh, Kartik Aaryan-starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, and Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal. In fact, Tishaa's last appearance at a public event was alongside his father Krishan at the premiere of Animal in November last year.
