Kartik Aaryan's statement on having 'love and hate relationship' with Karan Johar goes viral: 'Yeh film main puri...'

Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan and director-producer Karan Johar’s much-awaited collaboration is finally taking place. The film in question brings back Kartik to the rom-com genre and is titled, Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri. It will be helmed by the Satya Prem Ki Katha director Sameer Vidwans and will be produced under the banner of Dharma Productions. The film is slated to release in theatres worldwide in 2026.

After their fallout during Dostana 2, this is the first time that Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan would be collaborating. Speaking about their much-awaited reunion, Kartik Aaryan told Indian Express, "But abhi main inke sath film kar raha hu. And hum sath mein kar rahe hain yeh film and I hope yeh film toh hogi. Yeh film main puri tarah karunga and voh bhi puri tarah karenge yeh film. (Now I am doing a film with him. We are doing it together and I hope it happens. I will do this film and he will do it too). Yeh film toh bohot special hone wali hai (This film is going to be very special)." 

Speaking further about the viral photo of Kartik Aaryan seeking Karan Johar's blessing, the actor said, "Ispe kya bolu? (What do I say to this). I think yeh love and hate relationship hai… Bahut ache yeh photo represent karti hai (I think this is a love and hate relationship. This photo represents that very well)."

For the unversed, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Kartik Aaryan, and Namah Pictures in a collaborative post on Instagram shared an announcement teaser of their upcoming film, Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri in December last year.

Kartik Aaryan was last seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which was a massive success at the box office. It was directed by Anees Bazmee and starred Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimrii in prominent roles.
