Kareena Kapoor's cousin Zahan Kapoor makes BIG statement about Saif Ali Khan's attack, calls it all 'very confusing'

Kareena Kapoor Khan's cousin Zahan Kapoor's year started wonderfully well thanks to his breakthrough performance in the web series Black Warrant, however, a family tragedy in the Kapoor house has worried everyone. Zahan Kapoor recently opened up about the life-threatening attack on his sister's husband Saif Ali Khan during an attempted robbery at their home on January 16.

Zahan Kapoor recently opened up about the aftermath of the shocking incident and said, "When something like this happens, it’s deeply unsettling. It’s something that is disturbing and has taken over a lot of our mind space. The bottom line is that it’s always going to feel scary and difficult to deal with."

Though Zahan Kapoor expressed gratitude for Saif Ali Khan's recovery, he also spoke about the effect such trauma might have on one's mind. "I’m just happy that he is safe and making a strong recovery. It goes without saying that this obviously changes things. I don’t think anybody understands it — why this happened, what was the reason for it. It’s all very confusing and chaotic," he said. 

Zahan Kapoor, in his interview, also avoided adding any fuel to the fire amid ongoing controversies surrounding the attack. "I don’t want to add to it anymore. I really don’t know anything. The only thing that’s important is that he is safe and recovering. I just hope that they can get past this incident as I know it’s difficult," he said. 

For the unversed, Saif Ali Khan was stabbed repeatedly by an intruder inside his 12-floor apartment in the wee hours of January 16. The actor suffered multiple stab injuries in the attack and underwent an emergency surgery at the Lilavati Hospital.
