'Its a myth that...': Did Kartik Aaryan take a dig at Ranbir Kapoor claiming he has no PR?

Kartik Aaryan recently shared his journey of struggles and successes in his decade-long career. He also addressed the ongoing speculation about his alleged Rs 50 crore fee for an upcoming film, shedding light on the role of PR machinery and how it doesn't always paint an accurate picture. 

The Chandu Champion actor recently spoke to Filmfare and voiced his opinion on the ongoing chatter about the PR game. However, some Reddit users felt that he took an indirect dig at stars like Ranbir Kapoor, who claims that they don’t have PR. “It's a myth that only some people have PR support. Everyone has their own PR. I don't have a spokesperson, no influential uncles or relatives, and no one to spread positive news about me. I think people often mistakenly attribute everything to PR. But this isn't PR - it's just news circulating from somewhere,” he said.

Further, he expressed how he is targeted more than other actors. “I don't feel the need to verify or prove the authenticity of such news. Actually, people get annoyed when someone achieves success on their own, and they try to create false stories about that person. That's why you rarely hear stories about others.”

Earlier too, Kartik conferred Ranbir's PR’s favourite award in a fun conversation on Neha Dhupia's show, 'No Filter Neha'. During a Q&A session, he took a jibe at Ranbir by awarding him the 'PR Ka Pyaara Award'. For the unversed, Ranbir has maintained, in several interviews, that he does not have a PR agency. Kartik  and Ranbir has shared screen space in Luv Ranjan’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makaar.

Meanwhile, Kartik is currently focusing on Anurag Basu’s upcoming untitled epic musical love story. He is sporting a new look with long hair and a heavy beard. Kartik earlier also announced that he will lead the upcoming film produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, titled Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, alongside Ananya Panday.
