Here’s why Junaid Khan is carrying backpack around during Loveyapa promotions

Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan and Janhvi Kapoor’s sister Khushi Kapoor are currently under the spotlight for their upcoming film, Loveyapa. While the romantic drama is set to release on February 7, the celebrity pais has been grabbing social media attention with their promotional appearances. Besides being trolled for their odd rapport off-screen, Junaid’s multiple spottings with his black backpack have sparked curiosity among netizens. 

A series of paparazzi videos from promotional events show Junaid carrying a backpack which he appears to be obsessed with. In one of the videos, Khushi can be seen instructing Junaid to put down his backpack before posing for the shutterbugs. Junaid with a backpack has become a curious subject on the internet and has become a topic of discussion on Reddit. 

A Reddit user shared a video featuring Junaid carrying his bag and questioned: ‘Why does he keep lugging this damn bag around everywhere, especially during promotions for his movie?” In no time, netizens flooded the comment section with possible reasons and hinted at PR tactics to gain the limelight.

A user guessed, “I think it's for his awkwardness. I am socially awkward so I prefer carrying a bag for emotional support” A second user joked, “He carries his tiffin napkin and water bottle.” “Nothing much, he does know how to pose comfortably, so the bag is just helping him hide his awkwardness in front of the cameras,” a third user suggested. “Junaid has to carry a bag because he looks a bit older due to his features. So he thinks by carrying a bag he will give a college-going student vibe. I have no clue why he wants to be a chocolate boy hero,” opined another user.

Meanwhile, Junaid and Khushi's Loveyapa revolves around two lovers who want to married but their relationship takes an unexpected turn when they are made to exchange their phones for a day. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film is set to arrive in theatres in Valentine's week.
