Bigg Boss 18 winner Karan Veer Mehra shares UNSEEN pic with Sushant Singh Rajput, pens emotional note: 'I wish you..'

Actor Karan Veer Mehra is in the news after lifting the trophy of Bigg Boss 18. This is Karan's second big victory in reality shows after winning Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. Amid the celebrations, Karan took a moment to remember his brother, Sushant Singh Rajput. January 21, 2025, marks the 39th birth anniversary of Sushant Singh Rajput. On this occasion, Karan remembered Sushant and penned an emotional note with an unseen photo. 

In the photo, shirtless Karan and Sushant seemingly enjoy a party and the latter shout with happiness while getting clicked. Sharing this photo on Instagram Stories, Karan wrote, "Happy birthday Bhai. I wish you were here to see this bhai (folded hands emoji) #SSR." Soon this photo went viral, and Sushant fans got emotional seeing a moment of their idol partying hard. 

Karan reacting to trolls 

After winning Bigg Boss 18, Karan joined DNA for an exclusive interview. In the show, he was mocked by his co-contestants, including Vivian Dsena, Eisha Singh, Avinash Mishra, and Rajat Dalal. Karan was called 'cheap', 'mitti ka tel', and 'lost' contestant who didn't play for the first six weeks. Even outside the Bigg Boss, netizens, especially Rajat Dalal and Elvish Yadav's supporters openly spread hatred against Karan, and even trolled his fans. Sharing his views on the naysayers, he says, "Bolne ki zaroorat, main base dikha sakti hoon, yeh dekho (points towards trophy)."

About Sushant Singh Rajput

Sushant Singh Rajput was a popular TV star and became a household name by playing Manav in Pavitra Rishta. Later he ventured into Bollywood and gained success with his performances in films including Kai Po Che, MS Dhoni, and Kedarnath. 

Sushant passed away on June 14, 2020. He was found hanging in his Bandra residence, and his suicide made headlines for months. Various controversies surrounded his death and it also led to a probe by The Narcotics Control Bureau. They claimed that Rajput had been using people to obtain drugs since 2018 and filed abetment charges against them. Even his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was charged with abetment to suicide.
