Bigg Boss 18 grand finale saw Akshay Kumar leaving the sets, was it because of Salman Khan? Here's the truth

There were rumors on social media about Akshay Kumar leaving the Bigg Boss 18 Grand Finale set before promoting his film Sky Force. Later, host Salman Khan addressed the situation and provided clarification.

As per a report from a news portal, Akshay arrived at the location at 2:15 PM and waited until 3:15 PM for Salman, who was delayed. While promoting Sky Force in Delhi, Akshay finally spoke out about the incident.

When asked about not attending Bigg Boss 18 finale, Akshay explained, "He was not that late. I had reached, yeah, he came a little bit late because he had some personal work. And then we spoke about it, and he told me that he was late about thirty-five to fourty minutes. And what happened that I had to leave. So then we spoke about it, and I left, but Veer was there, so he shot with him."

Earlier, as per Hindustan Times, a source said "Being as punctual as he is, Akshay turned up on the set for his shoot at the scheduled time, around 2:15 PM. But Salman hadn't come by then. Akshay waited for an hour for Salman to come, but he had a trial screening of Jolly LLB 3 on his schedule. Thus, after waiting for an hour, Akshay returned without even shooting for the show."

Sky Force, directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur, is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Amar Kaushik. The film is inspired by India's counterattack on Pakistan's Sargodha airbase during the 1965 Indo-Pakistani air war.

Meanwhile, Karan Veer Mehra has been crowned the winner of Bigg Boss 18, while Vivian Dsena and Rajat Dalal became 1st and 2nd runner-up respectively.
