Bhooth Bangla: Akshay Kumar celebrates Makar Sankranti with Paresh Rawal on set of Priyadarshan's film

Akshay Kumar is currently filming his highly anticipated horror-comedy, Bhooth Bangla. This project marks a significant reunion, as Akshay collaborates with director Priyadarshan after a 14-year hiatus. Additionally, he is teaming up with Paresh Rawal, with whom he has shared iconic on-screen chemistry in films like Hera Pheri, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Garam Masala, and OMG among others.

To celebrate the festive occasion of Makar Sankranti, Akshay and Paresh took a break from filming to indulge in a traditional kite-flying activity on the sets of Bhooth Bangla. Taking to Instagram, Akshay shared a delightful video wherein he is seen flying a kite, while Paresh holds the manjha. In the caption, he sent best wishes to his fans on Makar Sankranti as well as Pongal, Uttarayan and Pihu.

Soon after, excited fans flooded the comment section over a sneak peek at Akshay and Paresh’s reunion. “Finally watching them after a long time,” wrote a user. “This frame screams nostalgia!” commented another user. 

Talking about Bhooth Bangla, Tabu has recently joined the team. The actress announced on Instagram by sharing a picture of a clapperboard, which read Bhooth Bangla. The caption of her Instagram post read, "We are locked in here." She previously worked with Akshay in Hera Pheri and Tu Chor Main Sipahi. 

Meanwhile, Bhooth Bangla also stars Rajpal Yadav and Asrani, besides Akshay, Paresh and Tabu. Backed by Balaji Telefilms Ltd, and in association with Cape of Good Films, Bhooth Bangla is expected to arrive in the theatres in 2026.
