Baby John: Thalapathy Vijay wishes 'blockbuster success' to Atlee, Varun Dhawan; actor responds

The highly awaited action thriller Baby John, starring Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh, officially hit cinemas on December 25. Directed by Kalees and produced under the banner of Atlee, who is famous for directing Jawan, the film also features Wamiqa Gabbi and Jackie Shroff. The movie is an adaptation of the Tamil hit Theri, originally directed by Atlee and starring Thalapathy Vijay.

Ahead of its release, Vijay, who starred in Leo, extended his well wishes to the Baby John team. However, it was Varun Dhawan’s reaction to Vijay's message that has been making waves and drawing significant attention. Vijay sent his heartfelt best wishes to the entire team of Baby John before its release, including director Kalees, actors Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and the rest of the cast.

He conveyed his hopes for the film’s success at the box office. Atlee, deeply moved by Vijay's thoughtful gesture, expressed his gratitude and thanked the actor for his support.

Baby John has been directed by Kalees and adapted by Atlee from his own 2016 blockbuster Tamil blockbuster Theri, which starred Thalapathy Vijay, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Amy Jackson in the leading roles. Made in Rs 75 crore, Theri was a massive commercial success and had earned Rs 150 crore at the global box office

Atlee, who made his Bollywood debut last year with the Rs 1000-crore blockbuster Jawan, is also producing the Varun Dhawan film along with his wife Priya Atlee under their banners A For Apple Studios. Murad Khetani's Cine1 Studios and Jyoti Deshpande's Jio Studios are the other producers backing Baby John.
