Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli host housewarming ceremony at Alibaug home, prep video goes viral

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are busy spending some quiet time in India. They are often spotted at the gateway of India taking a ferry for Alibaug. As per the reports, their new home is being constructed and today (January 15) is the housewarming ceremony (girh Parvesh). The preparations are underway as the video is going viral.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s Alibaug Farmhouse

In 2023, it was reported that Virat Kohli splurged a whopping Rs 6 crore on the 2,000 sq ft villa in Avas Living in Alibaug and paid Rs 36 lakh as stamp duty alone for the property. The plush property includes a 400 sq ft swimming pool as well. Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma reportedly purchased a farmhouse in Alibaug by shelling out Rs 19.24 crore. 

On the work front, Anushka Sharma was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s 2018 film Zero and failed to perform at the box office. She had a cameo appearance in Anvitaa Dutt’s Qala, which was released in 2022. Anushka Sharma will make her comeback with Chakda Xpress, a biographical film on cricket legend Jhulan Goswami, marking her return to the big screen.
