Legendary filmmaker Shyam Benegal succumbed to chronic kidney disease at 90. Benegal's pioneering films continue to inspire with their creative brilliance and vision, having revolutionized Indian cinema. The world-renowned tabla maestro Zakir Hussain passed away at 73, leaving behind an unparalleled legacy in Indian classical music.
