'Amitabh Bachchan is...': Amid Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan's divorce rumours, RGV shares shocking news, says...

The Bachchan family have been in the headlines for quite some time, and now Ram Gopal Varma shared an old magazine cover that questioned Amitabh Bachchan's career slump, and declared his career is 'finished'. On Wednesday, the Satya director shared the cover of the 1990s' The Illustrated Weekly of India. 

The cover shows Mr Bachchan and mentioned that with the failure of his film Ganga Jamuna Saraswati, Amitabh Bachchan's career is finished. The filmmaker shared the photo with the tweet and took a dig at the magazine. He wrote, "34 years back ILLUSTRATED WEEKLY magazine STATED this on its COVER and now ILLUSTRATED WEEKLY is FINISHED and ⁦@SrBachchan is SOARING."

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is currently shooting for Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, and he was recently seen in the all-time blockbuster Kalki 2898 AD. In Nag Ashwin's pan-India blockbuster, Amitabh played the role of Ashwatthama and gave a tough fight to Prabhas. 

Earlier in August, Amitabh took to X and wrote, “T 5089 – The work at KBC… renders long hours, but fills one with deep emotion and exciting entertainment in my talks with the contestants…” The tweet was shared hours after Aishwarya Rai returned to Mumbai after holidaying in New York with Aaradhya Bachchan. In his blog post, Amitabh Bachchan praised Gen Z, and wrote, "This Gen Z, is a set by itself.. independent, sure, confident and secure from an age when we were struggling with how the lace of the shoe needs to be tied." 

Earlier, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai made headlines over the rumours of their divorce. In July, Abhishek liked a post about divorce. News reports of Aishwarya and Abhishek's separation made headlines for the past year. However, they neither denied nor confirmed the reports. The separation rumours were fueled after Aishwarya Rai arrived at Anant Ambani's wedding, after the Bachchan family. The Khakee actress skipped the family photo and posed with Aaradhya on the red carpet.
