A video featuring a cat showcasing its remarkable ability to open doors on command has gone viral. The cat, named Jack, belongs to Bittu and Shabana Chauhan from Indrapuram, Ghaziabad, and the footage has gained significant attention online.
Jack has been a member of the Chauhan family for two years, having been adopted as a kitten from Bulandshahr. Although the couple had a love for pets, they never expected Jack to become a sensation in their household.
Bittu said, Jack, the cat, acts like a true family member. The family first witnessed Jack's remarkable ability late one night when they returned home from an event. Their son was sound asleep, and no amount of knocking could rouse him. To their astonishment, Jack took the initiative, opened the door, and allowed them to enter.

Jack's impressive door-opening ability was not a one-time event; he performed the feat multiple times. Shabana decided to capture the moment on video and subsequently shared it on social media.
The video quickly gained viral status, with viewers lauding the cat's intelligence. Shabana shared with India Today that Jack has become a loving and obedient member of their family.
"This cat has been part of our household for the past two years and behaves like a family member. It listens to us and follows commands," Shabana stated.
She added that Jack becomes visibly upset whenever she leaves home. “Whenever I leave home, Jack gets upset as if it understands that I am leaving.”
The Chauhans, who own several other cats and have given kittens to friends, describe Jack as truly unique.
As soon as the video was shared online, it quickly gained attention. A user said, "ye loyalty hai."
Another shared on socail media platform X and said, "What a good cat, this cat even opens the gate of the house!!"
