'Fourth divorce on the way': Netizens react after 'Ross Geller' sparks romance rumours with 29-year-old medical student

American actor and director David Schwimmer, best known for his portrayal of Ross Geller in the iconic sitcom "Friends", sparked fresh romance rumours after he was recently spotted with a much younger companion at the upscale Beverly Hills restaurant Spago in California, as reported by Hindustan Times. 

According to a report by the Daily Mail, Schwimmer's new romance partner has been identified as 29-year-old Eliana Jolkovsky, a medical student at UCLA and a Jewish activist.

As per the report, the duo enjoyed a romantic evening together before leaving the restaurant in a cab, with Schwimmer opening the car door for her. 

Meanwhile, netizens seem to be enjoying the brewing romance between the duo, comparing Schwimmer with Ross Geller (the character he played in "Friends").

Ross Geller, played by Schwimmer, is portrayed as the most wise and intellectual character among the six of the friends. However, he ends up having three divorces due to varying circumstances. 

In one of the episodes, he also dated a much younger woman, named Elizabeth (played by actress Alexandra Holden). Therefore, netizens are now drawing parallels between Ross and David's life, not without a touch of humour.
