Donald Trump brightens mood, dances with First Lady Melania Trump at inaugural ball, pic goes viral

After Donald Trump sworn in as the 47th US President, he attended three inaugural balls during his presidential inauguration. The US President was in a light and happy mood and so danced and sang at the Liberty Ball on Monday, January 20. He danced along with his wife Melania Trump as they were joined by their family and Vice President JD Vance and US Second Lady, Usha Vance.

Following his signature dance move, Trump emphasized the importance of "common sense" in the nation, going on to briefly discuss various pressing issues such as transgender operations, education reform, housing, interest rates, taxes, and strengthening the US military. 

"And I think we got tremendous reviews on the speeches. You know, I wanted to put in some really rough stuff but all of my people, including JD, said you know, let's not put that paragraph in. No, not that paragraph. It was a paragraph about Biden shouldn't be pardoning his family (UPSOUND loud boos) A couple of others that were far worse than that. He said the speech is so nice and it's so unifying. I said all right, we won't do it. We'll do it about two hours later. I've been doing it all night long," Trump said. 

Trump on his first day was in full action as he signed various executive orders. These orders included pardoning his supporters who stormed the US Capitol in 2021, pausing a ban on TikTok and exiting the US from thParis Climate Summit and the World Health Organisation.
