Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's Gurucharan Singh is unwell and admitted to hospital. His co-star, Jennifer Mistry opened up about his health and also claimed what made him ill. While speaking to Times Now, Jennifer said that Gurucharan is under a debt of Rs 1.50 crore, and he had hoped on one show that would help him in clearing his debt- Bigg Boss. 

Gurucharan was approached for Bigg Boss 18? 

Jennifer said that she and Gurucharan were approached for the ongoing Bigg Boss season, and he was 'dependent' on the show to end his dull phase. "Gurucharan and I were approached for Bigg Boss. We also had discussions with the makers. In fact, Gurucharan was fully dependent on Bigg Boss for monetary reasons. He was very sure that he would enter the show, and his financial issues would get resolved. However, nothing happened. I think he has taken that seriously and left the food and water.”

Jennifer is concerned about Gurucharan's health and advised him to work to clear his debt. She said, "I am very worried for Gurucharan Singh. I tried calling him a day before yesterday, but his number remained out of service. I feel sad for his parents as they are very old. Gurucharan has been in debt for a long time. He is very spiritual. When I tried to explain to him to work and quote a reasonable amount to the organisers of makers, he remained adamant.”

Gurucharan's friend on his health

Recently, the actor’s friend Bhakti Soni shared a concerning update on his health, revealing that he has stopped taking food and water. His family has also gone unreachable as they have switched off their phones. She also disclosed that the actor wanted to take sanyas(renounce the world).

Soni expressed her growing concern for Gurcharan Singh's health, revealing that she had been in touch with his mother for updates. Recalling the last update she received, she shared, "Unfortunately, his health has been deteriorating, and he was hospitalized twice. After his condition worsened again, he was readmitted to a government hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment,” she said in an interview with ETimes.
