Virat Kohli sledges 19YO Sam Konstas, netizens remind Indian batter of his age

They say, cricket is a great leveller and there's some merit to it. Every day is a new game and one needs to ace it, irrespective of what you have been doing all your life, or have achieved in the previous match.

Two tough teams--India and Australia--are not only playing for the trophy but also the prestige attached to the series. The fourth test between the two countries is going on in historic Melbourne. 

It's a ground where Indian star Virat Kohli has performed consistently. Be it against Australia or any other country. This is the same venue where he played an amazing knock against Pakistan to see India through in the T20 World Cup 2023. 

It's natural for him to feel pumped. And that's the nature of his on-field conduct. But sometimes it backfires!

Australian debutant Sam Konstas, who is only 19, batted with a lot of charisma and skills in his first game while facing the likes of Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj. He hit Bumrah, arguably the best bowler in the world right now, for two huge sixes in one over. Leave aside the classy boundaries.

This didn't go well with Kohli who sledged the youngsters. Now, the netizens don't like this attitude. They think Konstas is too young to be subjected to such treatment by someone senior like Kohli.
