Dhanashree Verma reacts to divorce rumours with Yuzvendra Chahal, slams 'character assassination by faceless trolls'

Dhanashree Verma, the wife of Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, has taken to Instagram to categorically deny the speculations surrounding her marriage. She voiced her sadness, stating that the past several days have been especially difficult for her and her family.

In response to concerns about her relationship with Chahal, Dhanashree remarked that her character has been unfairly assaulted by false stories. She emphasized that the truth would eventually come to light and declined to make any other information.

“The past few days have been incredibly tough for my family and me. What’s truly upsetting is the baseless writing, devoid of fact- checking, and the character assassination of my reputation by faceless trolls spreading hate. I’ve worked hard for years to build my name and integrity. My silence is not a sign of weakness; but of strength. While negativity spreads easily online, it takes courage and compassion to uplift others. I choose to focus on my truth and move forward, holding onto my values. The truth stands tall without the need for justification. Om Namah Shivaay."

Yuzvendra Chahal, an Indian leg-spinner, is currently under scrutiny due to speculations about his marriage to choreographer and reality show personality Dhanashree. The couple, who married on December 22, 2020, has sparked speculation about a possible divorce, with social media playing a major role in the debates. Observers have noted that Yuzvendra and Dhanashree had unfollowed one other on Instagram, which is commonly viewed as an indication of a breakup. To add to the conjecture, Yuzvendra has deleted all photos of Dhanashree from his account, but she still has a couple of him on her profile.

Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma, a Mumbai-based doctor and choreographer, married in an intimate wedding in Gurugram in December 2020. Their passion grew when Chahal took Dhanashree's YouTube dance courses earlier that year. As they spent more time together, their connection grew stronger, ending in an engagement and a wedding attended by close friends and family.
