Isha Ambani fondly remembers grandfather Dhirubhai Ambani at Jamnagar Refinery's 25th-anniversary celebration

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Jamnagar Refinery, Isha Ambani, the Director of Reliance Industries Limited, delivered an emotional address to employees and their families gathered for the occasion. This event marked the remarkable journey of one of the world's largest and most intricate refineries, a vision originally conceived by Reliance founder Dhirubhai Ambani and realised through her father Mukesh Ambani's unwavering leadership.

In her speech, Isha shared her personal connection to the refinery and its significance. "As we commemorate 25 years of Jamnagar, I feel my grandfather's presence and miss him dearly. This was his beloved dream, a vision that resided in his heart. He would have been immensely proud to witness what Jamnagar has become today," she expressed, evoking feelings of nostalgia and pride.

Reflecting on her father Mukesh Ambani's dedication, she noted, "I have observed my father's relentless commitment to bringing his father's dream to fruition. This is my father, Shri Mukeshbhai Ambani—a visionary, resilient leader whose greatest responsibility is to uphold his father's dreams. For him, values serve as a compass that guides every decision, effort, and achievement." She praised him not only as a businessman but also as a son and father, stating, "You inspire us all. Jamnagar and you have demonstrated that nothing is impossible when we unite with passion and purpose. Jamnagar is a paradise, and we are fortunate to call it our home."

Isha fondly recalled the transformation of Jamnagar, describing it as a "paradise." She reminisced about her childhood visits with her mother when they began developing the township from barren land into a lush and beautiful community.

Since commencing operations in 1999, the Jamnagar Refinery has become a testament to Reliance Industries' ability to dream big and execute even bigger. Over the years, it has emerged as a symbol of India's industrial strength and innovation, playing a crucial role in enhancing the country's energy security and economic development.
