Delhi is preparing for a big political battle in the 2025 Assembly elections. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and Congress are getting ready to compete for 70 seats that will decide the city's future. Some seats are especially important because of their history, population, and strong candidates.

One such seat is Okhla, a diverse and politically important constituency. It is currently represented by AAP’s Amanatullah Khan, who is aiming for a third term. He won by huge margins in 2015 and 2020, making him a strong contender. 

His main opponent is Congress’ Ariba Khan, who is trying to bring Congress back to power in the area. Okhla’s voters and Khan’s past success make this a key seat to watch.

    AAP candidate Amanatullah Khan from Okhla assembly seat accused the BJP of deliberately slowing down the voting process by placing barricades at various locations. He claimed that fewer votes would benefit the BJP in the election.
