On Saif Ali Khan's attack, Alia Bhatt's sister Pooja Bhatt slams trolls for 'being conspiracy theorists'

The stabbing incident involving Saif Ali Khan has caused concern and confusion among people. The first reports of the attack were very detailed, but Saif recovered quickly and left the hospital. This has raised questions about how people think about the incident versus what really happened. Saif's fans are praising him for being strong, but his family and friends are pointing out that people are reacting inconsistently. In the latest, Saif Ali Khan’s co-actor and relative Pooja Bhatt reacted to the trolls’ ‘conspiracy’ theories.

Saif was discharged on Tuesday, with videos of him walking home with heavy police security going viral. He returned home after a five-day-long hospitalisation. He was seen wearing a white shirt and blue jeans, with a cast on his arm and a bandage on his neck, visible signs of the injuries he sustained. However, Saif has also faced online trolling amidst the praise. In response, Pooja expressed her concerns about the public's perception of his condition. She noted that the graphic details reported in the media created a certain image in people's minds, which didn't align with the reality of Saif walking out of the hospital unaided.

Pooja also questioned the inconsistency in public reaction, wondering why the same people who praised Saif for showing resilience by taking an auto to the hospital after the attack were now reacting differently. "A man who checks himself into the hospital in a wounded, traumatised condition surely has the grit to walk out of the hospital on his own. We should be applauding this instead of resorting to being conspiracy theorists, “ she told Etimes.

On January 16th, a man entered his son Jeh's room, and Saif intervened, suffering six stab wounds, with one knife piece lodged in his back. He was hurt badly but he bravely fought back. A man identified as Shariful Islam Shehzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Fakir, a resident of Bangladesh, has been apprehended for allegedly stabbing him.
