Daaku Maharaaj box office collection day 2: Nandamuri Balakrishna film beats Ram Charan's Game Changer, earns Rs...

The Telugu language action drama Daaku Maharaaj, led by Nandamuri Balakrishna, was released in the cinemas worldwide on January 12. The Bobby Kolli directorial also features Bobby Deol (in his Telugu debut), Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Shrinath, and Urvashi Jaiswal in key roles.

After taking a strong start at the box office with the opening day collections of Rs 25.35 crore, the film saw a dip in its collections and earned Rs 13.50 crore, as per the early estimates from the entertainment tracking portal Sacnilk. This takes the two-day domestic net collection of Daaku Maharaaj to Rs 38.85 crore. On January 13, Daaku Maharaaj earned more than Ram Charan-starrer Game Changer, which had hit theatres on January 10. The Shankar-directed political action thriller earned Rs 8.50 crore on Monday.

Both Game Changer and Daaku Maharaaj will now face competition from Venkatesh-starrer action comedy Sankranthiki Vasthunam, which has released in the theatres on January 14 on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. All the three movies are expected to attract audiences to theatres in huge numbers in this festive week of Pongal and Sankranti.

Meanwhile, Nandamuri Balakrishna will be seen next in the action-packed drama Akhanda 2: Thandavam, which is the sequel to the 2021 hit Akhanda. The upcoming film will be helmed by Boyapati Srinu, who also directed the first part. Akhanda 2: Thandavam is set to release in the theatres on September 25, 2025.
