CBSE Boards 2025: Schools asked to submit practical exam marks by February 14

CBSE Boards 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an official notification directing schools to upload the marks for practical exams, internal assessments, and projects for the 2025 board exams on the CBSE portal by February 14, 2025. The board has asked schools to double-check all data before uploading to ensure the accuracy of internal grades.
The CBSE notice mentioned, “The Board Examinations – 2024-25 related activities are in full swing, with most schools conducting practicals, projects, and internal assessments, and uploading marks for the same. In continuation of this process, the portal for uploading internal grades will remain open from January 15, 2025, to February 14, 2025, for class 12 candidates.”
The notice further clarified that it is the responsibility of the schools to ensure that the marks they upload are correct. It stressed that “once marks are uploaded on the server, they will be final, and no corrections will be allowed afterward.”
Practical exams and internal assessments for both class 10 and class 12 students started on January 1, 2025, and will continue until February 14, 2025. The CBSE also reminded schools that if practical exams are conducted using external examiners who were not appointed by the board, the assessments will be considered invalid.
The CBSE has also highlighted the importance of uploading the marks on time. Schools must ensure that the process is completed by the deadline to avoid any complications. Any mistakes or discrepancies in the uploaded marks can create difficulties later on, as no changes can be made once the marks are finalized in the portal.
As the practical exams continue, schools are urged to carefully follow the guidelines and ensure that all assessments are conducted properly, and that the correct marks are submitted in time for class 12 students.
