Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli is struggling with health, as well as financial issues. He is unable to pay maintenance of his society. The former star cricketer is currently in hospital and recovering from clots that have been detected in his brain. The 52-year-old has not been using his phone for a long time now. As per reports, he had given his Apple iPhone to be fixed, but he did not have Rs 15000 to pay for the charges. Therefore, the shopkeeper took away his phone. It has been more than six months now, and Kambli could not take it back.

Moreover, Kambli's wife Andrea said that the members of their society harassed them for the maintenance charges which amounted to about Rs 18 lakh. Recently, Kambli was admitted to Akruti Hospital in Thane after his health took a critical turn. Though his condition was severe at the time of admission, medical professionals have since stabilised his health.

Besides, his financial condition hasn't been well for a long time, with the former cricketer surviving on BCCI's monthly pension of Rs 30,000. Kambli has been in the news for his health over the last month. He first caught attention when he struggled to get off his bike two months ago.
