DLF owned Sidhant Real Estate bought this massive bungalow costing Rs 150 crores on Prithviraj Road in Lutyens’ Delhi. Sidhant Real Estate, a subsidiary of the prominent real estate company DLF.
Buying expensive homes worth lakhs and to some extent crores is not unusual in Delhi, however, investing over 100 crores in a property becomes a matter of debate. A bungalow worth Rs 150 crores was sold in Lutyens’ zone recently.
DLF owned Sidhant Real Estate bought this massive bungalow costing Rs 150 crores on Prithviraj Road in Lutyens’ Delhi. Sidhant Real Estate, a subsidiary of the prominent real estate company DLF, purchased the bungalow from Rangoli Resorts. Delhi's Lutyens' zone is home to bungalows valued at a staggering Rs 500 crore or more.
According to documents from CRE Matrix, Siddhant Real Estate paid a whopping Rs 10.5 crores in stamp duty for an 1839 sqm bungalow, which was purchased last October.
Who is Rajiv Singh
Rajiv Singh is the chairman of one of the largest real estate companies in India, DLF. Not just this, the 66-year-old is India’s richest real estate entrepreneur, according to the Grohe-Hurun rating which released in 2024. Singh is also the only descendent of the real estate king Kushal Pal Singh.
Rajiv Singh graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and also completed his degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Rajiv Singh, ranked as India's richest real estate entrepreneur by Grohe-Hurun in July 2024, boasts a net worth of approximately ₹1.25 lakh crore. Meanwhile, DLF, where Singh serves as chairman, holds the top spot among real estate companies with a market capitalization of around ₹1.86 lakh crore, according to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) website.
