Saif Ali Khan discharged: CCTV cameras installed at his home, Ronit Roy to provide him security post stabbing attack

Saif Ali Khan on Tuesday was discharged from the Lilavati Hospital, five days after he was attacked at his Bandra residence by an intruder. Visuals of Saif exiting the hospital and returning home amid heavy police security went viral on social media. He was all smiles as he reached his residence. He even greeted his fans and shutterbugs who were waiting to catch his glimpse.

Surprisingly, actor Ronit Roy was also spotted with him. Many wondered what he was doing there as he was seen coordinating with the police officials and overseeing security arrangements at Saif and Kareena's residence.

ANI has learned that Saif has employed the services of actor Ronit Roy's security firm for protection. Ronit owns the "Ace Security and Protection" agency. He has closely worked with megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar in the past.

CCTV cameras installed in Saif's home

After the stabbing incident,  CCTV cameras are being installed at Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan's Bandra residence. In the visuals captured by paps, two men were seen installing CCTV cameras on the balcony of the 'Hum Tum' actor's home. In the clip, a man was seen climbing on the condenser of the air conditioner to reach the ceiling for the installation of the camera.

The attack on Saif occurred in the early hours of Thursday, January 16, when an intruder entered the actor's home with the alleged intention of theft. Saif, attempting to intervene during a confrontation between the intruder and his housemaid, sustained stab wounds to his thoracic spine. Saif was rushed to the hospital in an auto-rickshaw. A couple of days after the shocking incident, Mumbai Police arrested the accused from Thane. The attacker, identified as Mohammed Shehzad, was accused of being a Bangladeshi national who illegally entered India. As per reports, he was a national-level wrestling champion when he resided in Bangladesh.
