Kareena Kapoor Khan has finally spoken out about the terrifying attack on her husband, Saif Ali Khan, at their Mumbai home. Saif was stabbed six times by an intruder in the early hours of Thursday. According to Kareena's statement to the Bandra Police, the attacker was extremely aggressive, and Saif was attacked multiple times while trying to protect their younger son, Jehangir Ali Khan.

She said that the attacker didn't steal anything, highlighting the violent and targeted nature of the incident. Saif's bravery likely prevented a worse outcome, and he's currently receiving treatment for his injuries. “I was scared. Karisma (Kapoor) took me to her house. The attacker didn’t steal anything. Saif intervened to protect his younger son, Jehangir (Ali Khan), and the attacker was unable to reach him."Saif tried to save children and women,” she told according to India Today.
Kareena Kapoor earlier released a statement, acknowledging the family's struggle to come to terms with the traumatic events. She thanked fans and well-wishers for their support and concern, while also appealing to the media and paparazzi to refrain from speculative reporting. She emphasized the need for privacy, stating, "The constant scrutiny poses a significant risk to our safety. I kindly request that you respect our boundaries and give us space to heal and cope as a family."
Saif Ali Khan was left with six stab wounds after a violent attack at his Mumbai home in Bandra on the night of January 15-16. According to his representatives, the assailant attempted to burglarize the residence and attacked Saif around 2:30 am. The actor is currently receiving medical treatment at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. He underwent a critical five-hour surgery, in which doctors successfully removed a 2.5-inch knife fragment lodged in his spine. The police are investigating the incident and have taken a statement from househelp, and other witnesses so far.
