Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal blessed with a baby girl, share cute announcement: 'We are tickled pink with joy'

Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal have become proud parents to a baby girl, the new parents announced on Thursday. The baby girl was born on Tuesday.

In a statement sent through their publicist, the two actors said, “We are tickled pink with joy to announce the arrival of a healthy baby girl on 16.07.24! Our families are overjoyed and we thank our well wishers for their love and blessings!”

Earlier in the week on Monday, Richa had shared pictures with Ali from her maternity shoot. The pictures showed the actress in a dress with her baby bump visible. What can a love so pure bring forth into the world, but a beam of light ? Thank you for being my partner on this incredible journey @alifazal9 , through this lifetime and many more, through starlights and galaxies," she had written in the caption. In the same caption, the actress had wished something for their then-unborn child. "May we bring forth a warrior of light, a child of compassion, empathy, healing and above all love," the caption further read.

Ali and Richa had announced her pregnancy in the form of an Instagram post in February this year. "A tiny heartbeat is the loudest sound in our world," they had written in the caption of the post.

In May, the expecting mother had shared her thoughts on motherhood with DNA in a special conversation for Mother's Day. “It still hasn’t hit me. I think it will hit me when I actually deliver. Right now, it’s just a biological thing that is happening. Mentally, I think it will take time to hit me,” the actress had said.
