BOLLYWOOD
Nandamuri Balakrishna and Urvashi Rautela grooved on the song Dabidi Dibidi, and the netizens lost their cool on the awkward chemistry and cringe choreography. The best part is internet users calling out Naga Vamsi, and his hypocrisy for slamming Bollywood about losing its Midas touch.
It's said that one should be careful about words. Sometimes our own statements return to bite us. Producer Naga Vamsi's recent 'arrogant' remarks on Bollywood have sparked the Hindi vs South debate again. His statements about how South pioneering mass entertainers have hampered him as the latest song from his upcoming production has left netizens furious and they're calling it a 'mass cringe-fest'.
Vamsi will soon be bringing Nandamuri Balakrishna's Daaku Maharaj, and recently they launched a lyrical song from the movie, Dabidi Dibidi. The song features Balaya with Urvashi Rautela, and it's an 'offensive trash' filled with sleazy steps and the awkward age gap between the two artistes. In the song, Balakrishna, wearing a blue shirt, sits like a king. Urvashi Rautela, dressed in a crop top and skirt, smiles as Balaya hits her belly button on beats and pulls her by her dress. Later, Balakrishna hits Urvashi on her rear, and she continues grooving on the beats. The video also shows the choreographer enjoying the dance number.
Watch the cringe song
As soon as the video was dropped, it became the netizens started slamming the makers who went ahead with this song. A netizen wrote, "Imagine the outrage if this was a Bollywood song. What kind of choreography is this? #DaakuMaharaaj #UrvashiRautela." Another netizen wrote, "What on earth did I just watch? A grown man dancing so inappropriately with someone who could be his daughter? Who even comes up with such 'genius' choreography, and why did the hero agree to this? Absolutely disgusting." One of the netizens referred to Vamsi's remark on Bollywood and wrote, "Our ‘Bandra, Juhu’ directors don’t make this level of (poop emoji)." An internet user wrote, "Yeh hai South cinema, jiski baat Vamsi kar raha tha."
