Singer Monali Thakur has reacted to the news reports stating that she was hospitalized due to a breathing issue during a live concert. The 'Moh Moh Ke Dhaage' singer is alright, and she was 'never hospitalised'. On Friday morning, Monali was rushed to the hospital after experiencing 'severe breathing difficulties' during a live performance at the Dinhata Festival. However, the 'Sawaar Loon' singer has now dropped a long note on her Instagram Stories, denying the news reports as rumours.

Monali did admit that she was unwell, as she was not getting time to recover from an infection. However she clarified that she's not facing any breathing issues. In the note Monali wrote, "Dear media and everyone concerned for my health, hope you're doing well. I'm writing this to request that no unverified news about my health be shared. I truly appreciate all the love and concern, but I want to make it clear that I am not dealing with any breathing issues and was not admitted to any hospital. That's false information."

Monali further added that she was feeling unwell due to not getting enough time to recover from a viral infection/flu, which caused her to 'relapse and cause a slightly severe' sinus and migraine discomfort and pain in flights. "That's all there is to it," she remarked.

Monali further informed her fans, "I'm now back in Mumbai, getting treatment, resting, and recovering. I'll be absolutely fine in no time! Let's not make this bigger than it is, especially when there are much more important things to focus on." The singer concluded, "Thank you so much for your love and support."

Monali has earned numerous prestigious awards for her soulful voice. Her notable accolades include a National Film Award for Moh Moh Ke Dhaage from Dum Laga Ke Haisha and a Filmfare Award for Sawaar Loon from Lootera.
