'Krrish 4 will happen soon': Rakesh Roshan shares major update on Hrithik Roshan-starrer, reveals if Jaadoo will return

The much-anticipated Krrish 4 is expected to hit the screens soon. Directed by Rakesh Roshan, the film will feature Hrithik Roshan reprising his iconic role as the titular superhero. However, despite the excitement and growing momentum around the project, there appears to be one obstacle standing in its way.

After a 12-year wait, fans are eagerly anticipating the release of Krrish 4. This long gap has only intensified the excitement, with audiences hoping for another blockbuster from the Roshan family, who have consistently delivered hits. In the latest update, Rakesh Roshan revealed that the script for Krrish 4 is now complete and finalized, adding to the growing anticipation for the film.

The mastermind behind the superhero franchise, Rakesh Roshan, confirmed to Movie Talkies, "Krrish 4 will happen soon, for sure." Rakesh Roshan however revealed the reason behind the delay. He said, "Actually, it’s caught up with budget issues. It’s a high-budget film and requires a large scale. If we try to cut the budget, the storyline will suffer, and I don’t want to do it that way. I will not compromise on anything. I want to get the budget and scale right, and only then will we start working on it."

While details about the storyline of Krrish 4 remain under wraps, there have been several theories suggesting that the beloved alien Jaadoo might make a return. Rakesh Roshan, however, took the time to address these speculations and clarified, "No, no, I am not going to reveal anything, but our script is ready. I have the idea and am happy about it. Don’t believe any rumors. I’ll start once we are ready."

The Krrish franchise began with Koi Mil Gaya in 2003, where an alien named Jaadoo is accidentally left behind by its spaceship in Kasauli. There, it meets Rohit, a young man born with a developmental disability. The film beautifully portrays their extraordinary friendship, with Jaadoo gifting Rohit superpowers before returning to its home planet.
