Himesh Reshammiya does 'Animal' moves in Badass Ravi Kumar trailer with Prabhudeva, 'logic optional, action unlimited'

Himesh Reshamiya does the impossible. The music composer-turned-actor has not given up yet on his acting, and he will soon be bringing his upcoming film Badass Ravi Kumar. Yes, the movie, which was announced in 2022, will finally see the day of release. On Sunday, Himesh revealed the theatrical trailer of Badass Ravi Kumar, and it's cringe 10X. 

The 3.25-minute trailer looks like a short film, filled with cringe-worthy dialoguebazzi and violent action set pieces, that looks funny actually. Himesh has tried to copy Ranbir Kapoor from Animal, and he failed miserably. The movie is filled with action scenes which unintentionally funny. 

The movie boasts an ensemble cast. Apart from Himesh, the movie also stars Prabhu Deva as Carlos Pedro Panther, the larger-than-life antagonist, Kirti Kulhari as Laila, while Sanjay Mishra as Rana and Johnny Lever as Rana tried their best to add humour. 

Well, Prabhudeva isn't the only baddie in the film. The movie also stars Manish Wadhwa as Zaid Bashir, Anil George as Bhujang and Rajesh Sharma as Jagaavar Chaudhry.

Ever since the trailer was dropped, the netizens have had a field day, trolling the movie about its over-the-top bad content. A netizen joked, "Poore Bollywood ki ek hi hope only Badass Ravi Kumar." Another netizen wrote, "Last one was epic:- “Sudhar jaa, Nahi toh Gujar Jayega." Another netizen wrote, "Masterpiece ka bhi baap apna badass RaviKumar no Hollywood, no Bollywood, no South, one and only Badass Ravi Kumar." An internet user joked, "Animal, Marco ka baap, Badass Ravi Kumar."

Directed by Keith Gomes and produced by Himesh Reshammiya Melodies, the film’s trailer has set the stage for its release on February 7, 2025, in cinemas.
