Govinda-Sunita divorce: When actor admitted 'second marriage' in his kundali, resisting temptation from 'sensuous' Divya Bharti: 'I will marry...'

90s superstar Govinda is in the news for surprising reasons. There are rumours that the Raja Babu actor will get separated from his wife Sunita Ahuja. Yes, there are reports that the duo are ending their marriage after 38 years, and it has left his fans shocked. Amid the divorce rumours, Govinda's past statements about falling for Divya Bharti, and his second marriage go viral. 

In an old interview with Stardust while working with Divya Bharti, Govinda said, "Well, I am a firm believer in destiny. What has to happen, will happen. Yes, I like Juhi a lot. Even Divya Bharati. Divya is a very sensuous girl. It's difficult for a man to resist her. I know Sunita is going to be very upset with all this. But she should know that I am still resisting Divya's charms. I haven't given in to the temptation as yet."

When asked if he would consider marrying Divya Bharti, Govinda said, "Tomorrow, who knows, I may get involved again, and then, maybe I will marry the girl I get involved with. But Sunita should be prepared for it. Only then will I feel free. And there is a second marriage in my Kundli.”

Govinda on divorce rumours

The actor addressed the divorce rumours with the portal ETimes and he said, "These are only business talks going…I am in the process of starting my films." However, his manager confirmed that the couple filed for divorce six months ago, and he also said that it happened because of Sunita's recent interviews. 

While speaking to HT City, Govinda's manager Shashi Sinha said, "Sunita ji ne jo recent interviews mein baatein boli hain, yeh unn sab ka nateeja hai. Unhone zyaada bol diya hai (Sunita maam said a lot of things in recent interviews, she said too much. This is the result). And you know Govinda sir… there is friction."
