Govinda's daughter Tina Ahuja trolled for saying 'only Delhi-Mumbai girls get period cramps': 'Her dad shot himself'

Tina Ahuja, daughter of popular actor Govinda and Sunita Ahuja, is being slammed for her views on period cramps. The star kid said that it is only the women in bigger cities like Delhi and Mumbai that get period cramps and the ones who usually don't experience cramps might also start feeling them "psychologically."

Speaking to Hauterrfly, Tina said, "I have stayed most of the time in Chandigarh, and I have heard only these girls from Bombay and Delhi speak about cramps. Half of the problem comes from setting up these circles who are talking about the problem, and sometimes the ones who don’t get cramps also start to feel it psychologically. So many women in Punjab and other small cities don’t even realise when they undergo menopause."

"Maybe my body is a little desi. I have never had any back pains. Everything is perfect, 28 days cycle. But, here I see girls always talking about... You eat your ghee, stop dieting so much; you have a good night's sleep, and everything becomes normal. You have a good diet. Most of the girls diet so much looking at Instagram, listening to it, that problems which don't even exist happen", she further added. Sunita, who was also present in the interview, agreed with her daughter in the video.

When this clip was shared on Reddit, Tina was brutally trolled for her opinions. One user wrote, "What do you expect from the family of a dude who LITERALLY shot himself in the foot. I’m glad these people aren’t relevant anymore." In October, Govinda accidentally shot himself in his leg with his own revolver.

Another user added, "Usually, when women invalidate the lived experiences of other women and come up on top with their singular, personal anecdotes, it’s a byproduct of patriarchy.
