'Marvel who?': Dinesh Vijan announces Bhediya 2, Stree 3's release dates; fans react to Supernatural Universe lineup

Producer Dinesh Vijan struck gold in 2024 under his production banner Maddock Films by delivering mega-blockbusters like Stree 2 and small-budget superhit Munjya

Owing to the super success of the Supernatural Universe, Maddock Films has now announced an expansive slate of upcoming films, including the highly anticipated Shakti Shalini and Chamunda, Stree 3, Munjya 2 and Bhediya 2. 
 
The upcoming movies in the Supernatural Universe 

The first movie of the universe in 2025 will be Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna's Thama, slated for Diwali. This will be followed by Shakti Shalini release on December 31st. In 2026, Varun Dhawan will return with Bhediya 2. The movie will be released on August 14th. Then the second release of the year will be Chamunda, released on December 4. 

The year 2027 will mark the return of Stree Shraddha Kapoor with Stree 3. The movie will be released on August 13. The second release of the year will be the sequel of Munjya, Maha Munjya, which will be released on December 24.

In 2028, Maddock Supernatural Universe will be concluded on the lines of MCU with Pehla Mahayudh, slated for August 11 and Doosara Mahayudh, slated for Diwali, October 18. These two films will be the finale of franchise, just like Avengers Infintiy War, and Endgame.

Several fans of the Stree and Bhediya franchises are elated to know the release date of the future instalments. Many fans celebrated this announcement as "MARVELous news".
